Terminal screen displays Welcome in red

Seeing the word "Welcome" show up in red on your payment terminal screen? This likely indicates a hardware failure. Please see below for troubleshooting tips to determine the cause and get your device working again.
Do you normally use your terminal in Bluetooth mode or Standalone?
- From the WELCOME screen, hold down the button with the yellow arrow and then press the UP arrow simultaneously
- Select SETTINGS
- Select OPERATION MODE
- Select STANDALONE
- Keep pressing the red X to take you back to the READY screen
- You can now take payments
You need to pair your PDA with the card payment terminal.
When you have paired the devices, the screen on your terminal will change to “Ready for transaction".
