Why isn't my terminal processing transactions properly, it’s taking ages to process and then cancels the transaction?
Manually select a GPRS Network
This could usually be a result of poor connectivity between the device and its connected GPRS signal, resulting in payment not being received. This can generally be resolved by selecting another GPRS signal to use.
Select the appropriate mode below to find out how to do this.
Which mode is your terminal in?
- From the READY screen press the UP arrow
- Select SETTINGS
- Select CELLULAR NETWORK
- Select MANUAL
- Select SELECT NETWORK
- Select O2 or VODAFONE when the list appears
- When you see “successful connection” or network saved" keep pressing the red X to take you back to the READY screen
If your terminal's screen says “Ready for transaction” please switch your PDA off.
- From the WELCOME screen, hold down the button with the yellow arrow and then press the UP arrow simultaneously
- Select SETTINGS
- Select CELLULAR NETWORK
- Select MANUAL
- Select SELECT NETWORK
- Select O2 or VODAFONE when the list appears
- When you see “successful connection” or network saved" keep pressing the red X to take you back to the WELCOME screen
- You can now pair your PDA with your terminal
